Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our software development department in Abu Dhabi. The position is full-time and remote, except the cases when a physical meeting with the customer is required or the project requires prolonged presence at client’s site. 

Planned Responsibilities

  • Meet with the client to gather product requirements;
  • Write product requirements documentation based on the talks;
  • Communicate with the client the changes;
  • Keep the documentation up-to-date;
  • Report daily progress to the higher management;
  • Requirements clarification for the development and product teams;
  • Keep customers aware of project status updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent spoken and written Arabic;
  • Excellent spoken and written English;
  • Full-spectrum of communication skills;
  • General business understanding of the software development companies;
  • Knowledge in strategic planning - vision, mission, values, the frameworks - balance scorecard, SWOT, OKR, PESTEL, KPI is a big plus;
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of the software development;
  • Hands-on experience in working with requirements on complex projects;
  • Ability to iron out complex thoughts of a customer, and converting those into easy-to-understand documentation for the product and development teams;
  • Proven record of work on multiple projects from concept to shipping;
  • Solid experience of working with different types of web-based apps;
  • Experience of working with mobile apps (both: iOS and Android platforms);
  • Experience of working with desktop apps (Win) is a plus;
  • Having an example of a well-written document in the format of SRS or PRD (anonymized) is a big plus;
  • Strong sketching/wireframing skills is a plus;
  • Stress resistance;
  • Highly self-organized person with formed habits of logging their actions (meeting minutes, notes, other documentation).
